Positive: Excellent location, clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

Positive: very nice new house, easy access and easy to walk to centre of Te Anau. Negative: IT would be great to have a beside table on each side of the bed.

Our Te Anau Home Positive: AMAZING VIEW. So many things in the house that were perfect for a family holiday, from a very well-equipped kitchen (e.g., utensils, basic pantry items), to the perfect amount of space for everyone, convenience of a washer and dryer, and SUPER clean. Would be great for kids, families, or friends with the toys/board games/bicycles/bathtub + bath toys (not that we used it, but still). We enjoyed walking down to the lake and town as well by following a little path from the house. Would definitely love to stay here again! Negative: If I had to nitpick, our family prefers firmer beds, and the lights in the living room were a little too bright for us. But very workable.

Clean, comfortable modern home. Great view. Smaller than what it looks like in the photos. Positive: Good location, clean and comfortable. Negative: We didn’t have a coffee machine and were advised it had broken when I messaged the agent. It had been replaced with a cafeteria for one person which was really annoying when you have two adults who need their caffeine fix in the morning and have to wait to make and brew one drink at a time- this was time consuming and could have been dealt with by having the coffee machine replaced with a item that serviced a home that caters for 4-6 people. The property doesn’t have a tv which we were glad about but then the cupboard with all the games seemed to have games which were broken, or pieces missing which when the weather turned can be really annoying- maybe the games cupboard should have an overhaul? The managing agents for this property were pretty slow- I had booked several months back and had messaged through Booking but never got a response. I only got communication 24hrs prior to arrival which I thought was a bit shoddy. The garage did smell of paint/ fuel which was a bit strange.

Positive: Wow. Simply wow. Amazing property. Clean and large and well appointed. The kitchen was fantastic with basics. The washer and dryer was fantastic. The hosts were responsive. The views were outstanding. Negative: There was no instruction on how to use the heat pump and not knowing how to use it, we felt very cold for a long time back before we received the instruction on how to use it. The second and third bedrooms were a little small.
