Positive: Good location Negative: It feels like someone has been occupying the place for a while and hasn't tidied up the place for the incoming guests

Good place to stay Positive: Great view of the mountains & lake from the rear lounge. Very quiet. Easy walk (flat terrain) to the lake and town centre (15-20 mins). Very spacious, reasonably clean and provided most facilities for a short stay. Negative: The decor was dated. Mainly clean but also a few cobwebs. Unfortunately the beds weren't very comfortable and quite pricey for the state of the property (especially compared to other places we experienced in NZ). Missing a few thoughtful "creature comforts" we experienced with other facilities with a similar price point.

Never come back again to this property! Positive: Location is convenient Negative: Very dirty. Washing machine is put in the garage where is full of dust and smell of gasoline. The price Booking.com actually charged is NZD300 higher than the booking price!

Dusky Mostly Delightful Positive: Nice location, fairly close to town and Lake Te Anau.Good size kitchen, dining, and living areas. Loved having a full washer and a dryer. Did not use the garage but that would be nice in poor weather. Negative: Some items could be updated in the house. The 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds is a bit small - especially for adults. Floors (mostly in this bedroom) squeak very loud.
