Mountain Views on Matai

Wonderful house in a convenient location. Positive: We loved the house. Everything worked, the kitchen had all mod cons and was well stocked, the garden was gorgeous. We enjoyed stargazing through the roof of the conservatory. It fit all four of us in with great comfort. We hardly wanted to leave it during our 2 days there (though very glad we went to Milford Sound!). The excellent kitchen and dining room meant we could prepare meals at home and save on the cost of restaurants. The hosts provided enough information while not intruding on our stay. Negative: In my dreams it would have had a lake view-- but it was only a few minutes drive to the lakeshore. The price was a bit higher than we wanted but still glad we splashed out.
